Ramadhan School Operation Hours for Students
Please take note of the school’s operational hours during the month of Ramadhan for students. This
schedule will commence on Wednesday 22 March and will conclude on the last day of Term One,
Wednesday 5 April.
YEAR LEVELS DAILY DISMISSAL TIME
Foundation – Year 5 without siblings in upper levels. 8:20am 1:30pm
Year 6 – Year 12 and all remaining students 8:20am 1:50pm
(lower primary students with siblings in Year 6 & above)
Hifz and Ilm Students 8:00am 1:50pm
Timely Pick-Up
Please be advised that there are no after-school care arrangements. Therefore, parents / caregivers are
responsible to pick up their child(ren) by the stipulated times above. After-school yard supervision
will run between 1:30pm – 2:00pm during the month of Ramadhan.
The student cohort dismissed at 1:50pm will be performing their Dhuhr and Friday prayer at school.
Students in lower primary are expected to perform their Dhuhr prayer at home unless their travel
distance is long. These students should perform their prayer before dismissal.
Term One Student Reports
Please note that the parent and teacher interviews [Reporting Day] is scheduled to take place on
Thursday 6 April. A separate letter will be sent soon outlining how to book the interviews.
All parents will be invited to book their interviews. However, in noting that Reporting Day will be
during Ramadhan, some parents may simply consider viewing their child’s report online when the
reports are uploaded to Schoolbox on 6 April, but parents who are concerned about their child’s
performance or if their child has an Individual Learning Plan, these parents are strongly advised to
come in person to meet the teachers by booking their interviews.
A courtesy reminder that the last day of Term One for students is Wednesday 5 April and the
first day of Term Two is Thursday 27 April.
