This competition offers 21 categories across various year levels, from Foundation to VCE, encompassing both girls' and boys' campuses. It provides a wonderful opportunity for our students to strengthen their connection with the Qur'an. Expressions of interest were collected during the first two weeks of Term 3, followed by preliminary rounds within classrooms. Semi-final testing began in Week 4, where the top five students from each category will be selected to compete in the finals.
Imagine the abundant rewards for every letter recited and every ayat revised in preparation for the competition. We eagerly anticipate the beautiful recitations from our students during the grand finals week, which promises to be inspiring for all. We encourage parents to continue supporting and motivating their children as they perfect their recitation and memorization of the Qur'an.
Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that Rasulullah (peace be upon him) said, “One who is well-versed in the Qur'an will be in the company of the noble and righteous angels, and one who struggles with it, putting in great effort to learn, receives double the reward.” (Al-Bukhari)
